I really want to enjoy Sims 3 but it was abandoned back in 2011 and receives no new updates. Why can't you simply add a UI scale, or allow it to be set to newer monitor sizes like 3440x1440? There's currently no way to play Sims 3 on a large monitor at full screen. The user interface is microscopic. We desperately need an update here
@rawcasian Sims 3 was last updated in November 2015, not 2011, although the last meaningful patch was in 2014. The dev team was dissolved a long time ago, so there isn't anyone left to update the game. Still, it's typical for game developers to stop patching games after a certain amount of time, remasters not included. Take a look at other games released around the same time. Other than the occasional update to support newer hardware—and Sims 3 got one to run on newer Macs—most games that are done releasing content are also done releasing quality-of-life improvements.
