Will the Sims 3 work on my new Macbook Pro?

    The Sims 3 is not compatible on Macs which only have integrated Intel Iris graphics. If you would like to play the game on your Mac with these graphics you have to edit the GraphicsCards.sgr and GraphicsRules.sgr files. Instructions can be found here. Whilst this fix is working for some, unfortunately it doesn't seem to work for everyone.

    The Sims 4 works fine but your Mac may struggle as the game progresses and you add more EPs as you have integrated graphics (dedicated graphics are preferable when it comes to gaming). 

    The Sims 3 was not native to OS X, hence all the problems. The Sims 4 is.
