As there are many 32 bit computers in the world EA would not want to not eliminate those customers. Well Mozilla did a back pedal after it shut off the Nightly update channel and reactivated after much ruckus. Now that Brendan Eich is unemployed we might see a 64 bit Firefox. Although 3rd party support is small but growing I have been using Nightly for some time and it seems to work pretty good. Don't know why it isn't on the download page but it can be found. I also use the Pale Moon version but Nightly seems faster.
I think EA will play this one smart. To many law suits and them not fixing games has given them a bad rep. For all of us who have played Every sims game, the first two everyone had a computer that played thoses games. Sims 3 we all of a sudden needed a gaming computer. This Im sure did hurt EA.Not everyone is going to buy a gaming computer. I remember a lot of sims fans being mad their computer could not handle the game. They would get a lot more sales keeping the new game computer friendly. I just hope we never see a rabbit hole again!!
You must have been reading my mind. I was going to download java 64 and realized firefox is only 32 LOL . I should oad java 64 anyway.

And I heard Microsoft is going to improve the file system (still waiting). You have to understand that the minimum requirement for other games has benn raised since 2009 when TS3 was released. If you haven't updated your computer since 2009 and it had trouble with TS3 in 2009 I'm guessing it's going to have trouble with a game to be released in 2015. When I was playing Tombraider, every generaqtion meant a trip to the computer store.
