And I heard Microsoft is going to improve the file system (still waiting). You have to understand that the minimum requirement for other games has benn raised since 2009 when TS3 was released. If you haven't updated your computer since 2009 and it had trouble with TS3 in 2009 I'm guessing it's going to have trouble with a game to be released in 2015. When I was playing Tombraider, every generaqtion meant a trip to the computer store.
if people do not have a newer computer the sims 4 may not play well but if someone does have a newer computer the specs wont be as high as the sims 3 as far as owning a serious gamming computer. Then again gaming computers have gone way down in price. My computer 5 years ago would have cost about $5000.
You played Tombraider on computer? I have been playing on playstation 1, 2.3 and saving up for 4. I still have all my playstation 1 and 2 games. Still have my playstation 2. I will not part with them since many have not been rereleased. I wish I saved my original nintendo. I have every Gameboy accept 3d one. I have been gaming a long time LOL
I played the game of adventure on my Heathkit H89 (my first gaming computer). I loaded Basic from paper tape when I had an Imsai. lol the frustrations of a Heathkit H10 paper tape reader. I have an Xbox 360 but I mostly use it for streaming movies. I really never had time to play games. This summer I have some real life projects (home repair) that have to get done then financial issues which seem to be taking forever resolve. Seems I had more free time before the word computer became a household word.
My son was really little when I had playstation 1. I would play resedent evil, tombraider , final fantasy 7. It was my sanity while my son watched Toy Story over and over and over again! LOL . I was in my early 20's when nintendo came out. When I could not sleep it was mario and the first final fantasy. I downloaded the first final fantasy for playstation 3 OMG. I forgot how primitive that was. Your characters look like eggs. The sims is the only game I have ever played on computer. I palyed Myst but I played on playstaion not the computer. I grew up in the arcades and our first home game was Pong when I was a kid. All my friends had atari and I had intelevision. My father insisted intelivision was a better system. I think the sticks were sligtly bigger than in Atari Games. He swore the graphics were better than atari too. Atari lasted a lot longer than intelivision LOL
