How did you fix this issue. I cant log in to my game. On top of that, origin wont let me re-authorize my game. keeps tellingme the code has alreayd been used.. its my code but i can re-do it.
Ty updating Origin to the latest version. If the game won't download due to the serial key already being used, you should return it to store you bought it from and get a refund. If the update fixes Origin, your game should be registered but instead of saying play, it should say download.

It sounds like you have already claimed the code on your account so you won't be able to redeem it again. You will need to log in to Origin with the account you claimed the game on originally and you should see it under MY GAMES in the Origin client.

Oh wait. the Problem returned again after one day it keeps coming back the problem anyone know how to fix this permanently?
- Anonymous12 years agoI get this ALL THE TIME - at least 2-3 times per day. Clearly a bug. Is it fixed????
I have the same problem.
This occured after I changed my password to something more complicated. So it is really annyoing, having to log in every time I start up Origin to play. At the same time I also turned "Login Verification" in my security settings on. So I'm not sure if that might have something to do with this error.
I tried to delete the local.xml files in my appdata so they had to be re-created at the next login but closing it down and starting up again I get the same error message again. After deleting again, it now seems to be working as long as I do not change any settings for the app. If I change from "let Origin decide" what my starting tab to starting it up on the "My Games" tab, the error returns. I have not tried other settings to see if that makes the error return, but I thought I'd give the input. Might help with resolving this ongoing issue.
Sorry for dragging an old issue back up, but it is still current, unfortunately. My best guess is right now, that it has something to do with the Login Verification.

Is this in Origin or does it have anything to do with the Sims ?
Sorry, I did not realize I was posting in The Sims. It was an Origin Problem. Somehow, when searching the topic I must have overlooked that it was the wrong category. My bad.
