I’ve completed it 5 times now, and it still hasn’t rewarded me. Tenant revolts, and doesn’t stand to reason. And I fail to meet their needs no matter how many times I promise to commit to better living conditions. I can’t adjust their home or add anything while they live in it. I am experiencing the same issue with not being able to complete the first landlord aspiration of maintenance. I have also completed this around 4-5 times and it wont check off.

I've been experiencing the same issue. In this screenshot, you can see that I just successfully completed the sewage leak maintenance event (see on the notification wall. My Sim is doing the inspect and maintenance function on the toilet after resolution just to see if that helped... it did not), but the aspiration goal still shows as incomplete.

My sim will fix the issue (repair the electrical unit or fix a broken computer) and the event doesn't show as complete. There is clearly something wrong with the pack that won't allow this event to be 'completed', which poorly impacts my unit rating. What do you expect to see? I expect to see the event marked as 'complete' as soon as I fix the items. Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? That ticked off for me with the cursed book event. I thought it was bugged too but apparently there are different types of events. The ones that qualify for this objective appear to be the pant blight event, something related to algae, the cursed book one, another one about an infestation and trash overload. The next series of objectives in the aspiration has another type of landlord event that needs to be completed. The game doesn't make it clear that these events are from different categories.

I am experiencing the same issue with not being able to complete the first landlord aspiration of maintenance. I have also completed this around 4-5 times and it wont check off.

@SuperRadium This sounds like a multi report so could you please create a new thread for the tenants issue ?

Might be good if you post some pictures on that. What are you doing to maintain a good property ? Did you do maintenance on objects ? Did you talk to them ?

Personally I had one revolt but was able to solve it quickly and now they are quite happy.

As for the maintenance event. That one fulfilled for me quite quickly too but with an event that I didn't really consider to be a maintenance event. What was the exact event you're getting ? Could you take a screenshot ?

Either I'm having the same problem or the ones i've done aren't considered maintenance events. I've done Explosive malfunction & Sewage Leak multiple times. I've done Haunting too but I think that's an emergency event.

@Alas_Enkidu I definitely did infestation and trash overload without it checking that off. But I think it was cursed book that finally worked for me.
