Jumping right in the new forums with a Casting Call for sims. Need 7 sims to participate in the Asylum Challenge.
The Asylum Challenge will be played on Hard Mode. All lot traits will be used, except simple living. I will only be controlling my own sim. The rest of the sims will run amuck...er...free in the asylum. The rules for the challenge are HERE
1. Create your sim. Teen, YA, Adult or Elder. The only requirement is that they must have the erratic trait. 2. Occults welcome (except vampires, as I don't have the pack). 3. No cc as I play a vanilla game. 4. Create a backstory for your sim on how they ended up in the asylum. 5. Post your sim below and on the gallery using #SOULGALASYLUM 6. DEADLINE: FRIDAY, JULY 26th.
I am sure Dante will feel right at home with the other residents in this...um...safe environment. Let's hope no-one else looks like his brother...er...imaginary friend.
I have a few other simmers from Facebook who have submitted sims, but I will probably be short sims, so decided that one of the pre-made Maxis sims should be used.
Patient 8675309 - Male - Young Adult
Don Lothario
Agnes Crumplebottom, a concerned sim, had filed a police report after witnessing a sim making lacivious advances towards several female sims at a nearby park. Obviously concerned for the young women's safety, Agnes had followed the sim and discovered that the sim was living in an old abandoned granary. When the police arrived, the sim seemed somewhat confused but told them his name was Don Lothario. Having no ID on him, and being unable to tell the authorities how he got there, they brought Don to Newcrest Hospital. Once there, Don explained that he had woken up one morning in a whole new world. All he remembered was being at a party with several women who had been laughing as he stepped onto a teleporter. At the mention of the teleporter, the doctors raised their eyebrows. After further questioning, Don could not tell them anything about his past, whether he had a job or not, or where he was from originally. However, the patient did recall his many relationships with women, and in fact boasted that in the past he had held down relationships with four women at once. The patient also boasted that even a married woman, by the name of Bella, had come to his abode one night. The patient described himself as a man about town, and said that the ladies just couldn't keep their hands off of him. He confessed that he loved all women, and, as if to confirm this, Don openly flirted with a nurse when she entered the examination room. After conferring for several minutes, the doctors ascertained that the patient was suffering from a cognitive impairment with a further diagnosis of a Casanova Complex. It was recommended that Don be admitted to an asylum for further observation.
*Most of this backstory is from Sims 2 & Sims 3 lore, which can be found HERE. The number 8675309 is from the song Jenny 8675609 by Tommy Tutone. Yep, for a good time - call Don! I changed his active trait to erratic.
Shanda loves food! She also loves being the life of the party. When her erratic behavior got her banned from all the A-List parties she took to crashing parties of the rich and famous, She crashed the Bailey-Moon dinner party in Del Sol Valley. She spent all night at the bar and was totally juiced. When the guests were called to dinner, they found Shanda hanging from the ceiling over the table. She fell into a tureen of pumpkin soup. After being transported to the Newcrest Hospital, Shanda was diagnosed with histrionic personality disorder (HPD), as she wanted to be the center of attention all the time. And, that's how she found her way to the asylum.
I changed Shanda's traits to erratic, glutton and party animal and gave her the Chief of Mischief Aspiration. I also changed a few of her outfits.
