I wanted a storybook English country mansion that has survived into the 21st century, because I am trying to write a story that will use the house as part of the background. And yay! I've finished the first chapter.

By the way, I was in your neighborhood (i.e. Brooklyn) last weekend to see a play at St. Ann's Warehouse. And I'm glad you were feeling better today! :)
