@StSciurus . Yay! I’m so happy I “got” what you were going for. I’m a writer myself, so it always thrills me beyond belief when a reader picks up on something that is important to the story, but always tends to be overlooked. ;) And please do send me the link to your story when/if you post it. I’ve never really written or read a Sims’ story before, but your gorgeous Pemberly has me intrigued. ;)
St. Ann’s Warehouse, you say? I definitely know the neighborhood, but I haven’t been to that particular venue yet. It’s amazing to me, though, how much that area has changed. About twenty-years ago it was not a very nice place to be, but now Dumbo has become so trendy and chic. All the old warehouses were made into the lofts and boutiques. The Brooklyn Bridge Park was rebuilt (don’t know if you’ve been there, but it’s amazing, great views!) and now has that great carousel up and running. It’s so nice, neighborhoods people wouldn’t touch a decade or so ago are now very popular. And I just have to ask, have you ever eaten at Grimadli’s? It’s right by the Brooklyn Bridge. Supposedly they have the best pizza in the country, but I ate there so long ago I couldn’t give a fair assessment, LOL.
Anyway, sorry to hijack your thread with NYC talk. And I do apologize for taking forever to get back to your message. I know you are aware of all the health nonsense that’s going on with me, but it just really bothers me that it takes me a couple of days to get back to you. Again, thank you for your patience and understanding. And please do tell me more about Pemberly. A house like that has to have a great story behind it. Hope you’re doing well!
