I would love some starry sky too if I had flat ceilings or walls its so pretty
irl as kid I always had this awful white styrox style textured ceiling that couldn't be easily removed or painted hated it so much
-crime against humanity really
these days I live in small log cabin with A frame ceiling all wood no paint and I love it so much I don't want to paint anything
best would be skylight but that comes with con of snow, lack of privacy, sunlight which can be deadly to vampire such as myself
Look up galaxy/star projectors. They look so cool. Some of them can be semi affordable around $40. The dirt cheap ones don't seem to get great reviews. I want one but would rather spend that money on video games or my cats.
I actually have a star projector. Makes for pretty atmospherical movie nights as well. Too bad the stars are green, of all colours..."KestrelDC;c-18292546" wrote:

What did you use for that?
It's an animated cc floor texture by Bakie that actually sparkles, especially with lights on. It also exists as a wallpaper. Here are the links if you're interested:

Sandhouse now has sand ceilings!
(but yet no furnishings π)
The Forgotten Lady restaurant in San Sequoia
is wondering what they should do about their ceilings
as Simmingal realizes she never thought about what kind of ceilings restaurants have
one of the houses in Strangerville, wood seemed too much
but I don't know what else would go with the theme,
at least ceiling is less white now"Starfree;c-18292967" wrote:
Just a question out of curiosity: can you return ceilings to their boring white if you ever get tired of painted ceilings?Yes you can
the swatch doesn't show in catalog though
so you have to create new room with ceiling to copy the swatch from if you painted all the ceilings- HermioneSimsNew VanguardI was actually waiting a lot for ceiling colours, even more than horses, in particular for my Hogwarts save. I haven't decided on the definitive swatches yet, but it's definitely a big improvement over the original white ones!

Room not mine, but took a pic anyway when at "project ceilings"... white popcorn roofing did not fit here :) - djsboonieNew Adventurer

Last night I specifically tried and STILL couldn't see the ceiling in my game. The new ceiling feature looks nice but I think I definitely will not end up using it.
@momelimberham first you need to have walls fully up. In live mode use shift + tab to go in first person mode then just pan the camera. Also, make sure your sim is in the room you want to look at. In build mode press the tab key then use the WASD keys to move the camera & the Q & E keys to adjust camera height (thanks again @MrPlumbob). Again, make sure your sim is in the room. Hope this helps ?. - mightyspritesimsSeasoned Hotshot"Curiouser and curiouser," thought Babs, having some difficulty adjusting to the ceilings on her lot.
