For 11 years CAS and B/B mode have been spoiled brats and Maxis has been added many good features to set the stage, so now let's play with life !
I propose to create a whole expansion pack dedicated to "action".
No world, no feature, just tons of new animations.
Idle animations, interactions with objects, social interactions, hobbies, ... all these things that The Sims franchise did but still missing in The Sims 4.
I'm sure every veteran sims player would agree that we are long overdue for some new base game improvements.
So why not just focus on a pack purely for that?
No world? Definitely Not!
New animations and enhanced gameplay? Uhh Yes Please!
This Expansion would add new animations for both idle and moving sims.
Idle animations could include sims laying spread out on a couch while watching tv, eating popcorn and possible jumpscares depending on what they are watching. ( We had a movie stuff pack for a reason right?)
We could add a feature for sleeping sims. Bad dream icon? Let them get restless and toss and turn!
New poses would be amazing too.. In both building a sim photograph and in general.. taking a sim selfie is boring after a while...
New social interactions! Imagine an adult sim deciding to randomly throw a tantrum? Their anger mood is on so why not show it beside shouting at the sim interacting with them?
There is so much more we could do with this idea.... What do you think?
I like your idea however it's sad that we have to request this EP just for gameplay and like you I'm so tired of new worlds, I haven't even gotten used to FR, LS, L&D, B&H and we're getting another new world i can't keep up with them at all. NO MORE WORLDS unless it's like Vacation Worlds I'm all for it.
I agree its disappointing how we have to ask for this in the form of an expansion or game pack.
I'm glad some more simmers are voicing their opinions and ideas on gameplay hopefully the Sims team sees it and apply it. Gameplay and Animations have been a request for some years now.
