🔮 Future of The Sims 4

Hi,

Everyday life is boring that's why fantasy and sci-fi in movies, books and video games are so popular. People want to escape to their everyday life and dream. People also want to laugh.

Cyberpunk, steampunk, space opera (orbital station), exoplanet colony (off-the-grid survival), netsphere (virtual world), orc village, medieval royalty, ... I would like to explore more themes.

Basic life is ok but Need For Speed or GTA are more exiting, so it's nice to spice up the sims lives a little more, I mean, we've been playing basic life for 25 years, it's monotonous.

As long as Maxis will provide adventure, fiction and humor, The Sims 4 will remain the best life simulation.

    we need crime based pack (prison etc.) also medieval royalty pack

    Compared to the previous games including the console versions, The Sims 4 has improved :

    • CAS
    • Build/Buy Mode
    • Context feature
    • And bring to Console players :
      • Total freedom
      • Content (Packs)

     

    But at the same time The Sims 4 has less :

    • Live Mode gameplay
    • Lore (local neighborhood drama)
    • Fun special NPC : People will still want to bring back Miss Crumplebottom but nobody will remember Kyle Kyleson or Trashley in 10 years.
    • And lost Console gameplay :
      • Fun mini-games
      • Playable Story

     

    In Saints Row 2, I liked the mini-games like Streaking or Assurance Fraud, I think The Sims style shouldn't be used for 100% of the activities.
