Corn and sunflowers would be nice to have as well. Corn could be used in recipes like grilled corn on the cob, corn bread or for the polenta dish, could give to chickens and sheep as feed and use the empty corn cobs to make fire in off grid gameplay. Sunflowers could be used as bird feed, or to make oil or dessert dishes like sunflower seed brittle and sunflower seed halva. Oil could be used to light oil lamps in off the grid gameplay or for cooking. Maybe they could add some fry recipes too, fry donuts, fry bread, fry chicken. Or it could be used to make soap.
