Adoption & Bio Family Trees

I've never personally understood why adopted sims have to be removed from their family trees. I know the family tree is a very sore spot for most of us and needs lots of attention and work put into it in general, but now that it's received some from royalty and legacy I really hope the adoption tree can be looked at in the future. I want stories where orphans or runaways can be adopted into homes but also remain connected to their biological tree, and I doubt I am the only one who feels this way. I would happily accept having 2 trees for sims who have been adopted, and to click between the two "pages" to see them.  I feel these elements are such a simple way to add rich layers into our gameplay and storytelling. Researching family trees could also be extended for this aspect of gameplay too.
