Special Events

Hi everyone, so first off I just wanted to say that I love when the Sims has special events and that they have them last a long time so we can collect the items. However, I am irritated with the way they are doing the new Bridgerton event.

I’ve noticed that so many people have been having issues trying to collect items from the event. I have had issues with it saying it was locked, even though I had checked in the right amount of times. It’s also said “Please be patient while Gnomes fix the problem.”  Or whatever it is they have there lol. It’s happened several times now since it started.

I like how they’ve done previous events but not this one. Is anyone else irritated with it? Like I was finally able to get my items, but I don’t know if anyone else has been able to or not. I also didn’t know if I’d get my items or not, even though I’d had the right amount of check ins and they were not unlocking for me. I don’t know what I did to finally get them but somehow when I went back to the main menu after playing for a bit, the items that were locked were finally unlocked. 

How can we ask Sims developers to go back to the old way of doing events? I liked the way they did the previous event, which I can’t remember if it was the Nature’s event that came out with Enchanted by Nature or if there was another one after that. I might have missed an event though. Does anyone else feel the same way as me? Just super curious! Thanks lol.😅
