Now that we have residential rentals, I'd love if Granite Falls and Selvadorada were made Residential. After all, even Tartosa, Sulani or Mt Komorebi could be considered vacation places, but you can live permanently in them

I feel like there's no point to use Selvadorada and Granite Falls as a destination world only since we have world which is both a vacation world and residental world since Mt KomorebiIt could be a win-win for us all if they add these 2 worlds in a residental world, you won't have to live there but atleast you can visit these 2 places as much as we like!I'd like to use Selvadorada more often without having to book a vacation to visit there!I know there are mods for this but not everybody can or wants to use modsI'm in for a residental world for both Selvadorada and Granite Falls :)

Totally agree, this should be updated so we have more freedom of choice. I know it would change the gameplay style with exploration, but having it as optional would suit all types of players. Some players have already done a lot of exploring and would like it as a liveable world now.I use a mod for this already, but better to have it in game for everyone and one less mod to keep updated.

I kind of like that you have to save up to go to Selvadorada and then spend time there instead of being able to go on an archaeological expedition just for the afternoon…but you know what would be a fun solution? If the worlds were grouped and you could live in any of them and vacation in any of them, but once you lived somewhere you could only travel within your world’s group of worlds and to go beyond that you needed to take a vacation - or at least pay a travel fee. Also townies would stay within their own world’s group… or at least would have a much lower chance of spawning outside of it.Maybe…Group 1: Willow Creek, Newcrest, Magnolia Promenade, Granite Falls, CopperdaleGroup 2: Oasis Springs, Del Sol Valley, Strangerville, Chestnut RidgeGroup 3: San Myshuno, San Sequoia, Britchester, Ciudad Enamorada, Evergreen HarborGroup 4: Henford on Bagley, Brindleton Bay, WindenbergGroup 5: Glimmerbrook, Moonwood Mill, Ravenwood, Forgotten Hollow Group 6: Sulani, Tartosa, TomarangGroup 7: Mt. I’d be interested to hear how other people would group the worlds if everything was residential but you needed to go on vacation to go to a different group…

I even think this could happen to Granite Falls, but for Selvadorada, as someone said before, it would break the exploration gameplay, because random sims would spawn there as in a normal lot/venue. But i deeply wish both to become residential too.

I completely agree with you, it's a win-win for everybody here, people can make them live there if they want to and we can visit these 2 worlds at any time if they add these 2 worlds as residental worlds :D

Yeah but if you change a vacation type in a residential world it's still not a vacation you will still see the same townies a vacation is a getaway from everyday life so if you see the same townies that's really not getting away? I like the vacations in Sims 2 Bon Voyage no you can't live there but you can explore, buy souvenirs and have a different experience Everytime. You can put hotels in the lots that you suggested but I would like an actual vacation world with hotels and resorts just like Sims 2 Bon Voyage.

I get so involved in stuff I have rarely taken my sims on vacations. You make me sad saying that about Batuu. I haven't went there yet but I did find the adorable little mandalorian statue. I think I am going to have to load up a new sim and go check it out to get it out of the way. Sounds like I am going to be disappointed but I paid for it so I'm gonna go at least once.

When I decided to divorce my sim, I really wanted to move him to Granite Falls to permanently get him away from the drama. I think it would be cool to have residental there as long as they could limit "townies" to local ones and I wouldn't be seeing all those yahoos from the residential worlds.

I rather dig your grouping though I think Granite Falls would be more aligned with Selvadorada wouldn't it? Woodsy exploration and all that. Those other towns are a bit too polished me thinks
