Broken objects too frequent

All of my households upgrade their appliances, plumbing etc so they don't break as often but still there's a handful of objects that break every. single. day. It's too much! 

I do save every sim day - because I have to given the sims's track record with crashing and lagging. I heard saving may be causing this. Still, it's too much. Please either give everything a fully unbreakable upgrade option or reduce the frequency. 

Never used cc or mods. Mac.
