Colour sliders for hair

We've got quite a bit of skin tone choice now, but a lot less hair colour choice. It would be great to have sliders and be able to choose any colour we like. Having two-tone hair with two sliders would be cool too, so we can have dyed sections of hair. I think TS4 CAS is great - but we could do a lot more with hair colour options. Hair does come in all colours, natural and dyed, and we don't have that in game at the moment.

Just a quick note, I'd still like pre-textured hairs to be possible and work in-game, there's so many out there already made, and sometimes it's the only way to get all the details needed. But adding colour slider hairs as well would give us the benefits of both options.

      Awesome! Good to hear you want this too. With actual freedom to choose any colour then CAS could make even more distinct sims. Would be so good to see what people do with it on their gallery sims.

    Yes, pretty please.  Also, I would love it if they can add new Red Hair Colors to the game.                                                    Like Strawberry Blonde Red, Dark Burgandy Red & Greyish Red.

      Absolutely to reds! I keep wanting more red too. More going grey options too - which might be where something like two-tone hairs could work really well where you can have either highlights, or set the second colour to grey to have salt and pepper grey. Right now grey in TS4 is either all or nothing, but for many people it's partial.

    I have mentioned this before on the old forum. I would love a color slider for hair. The sims showed it can be done with make up and a modder even created color sliders for hair as a mod for the sims 4.

    There are so many color shades possible for real hair. Swatches are limited. 

    Personally I hope this can be a way to finally get fantasy colored hair for all ages. My blue skinned sims should be able to pass on their blue hairs to their offspring. Also purple hair is still missing.

      Absolutely, those fantasy, or dyed colours would be a lot of fun to play with. I think the makeup system and also the cats/dogs CAS really show how they can do a lot more now with colours and textures.

    Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes please! More colours (neon? 😃) would be great. I'd also like to be able to set all colours from birth and not have to wait until teen years to get purple/green/pink/etc.
