Days Til Age Up Option In The Sims 4

Nobody seems to discuss it too much, but I really miss The Sims 3's option to adjust the days for each life stage. I usually would adjust it where they live up to 100 Sim days (or more when they worked out enough xD).

The Sims 4 options are like: No Age Up, Short, Normal, and Long.

Short is too short for my liking and some life stages are too long for normal.

And I don't want to be in the no aging option because I think that prevents the townies from aging up on their own? I can't remember at the moment.

But my goofy butt is only annoyed by this when it comes down to it. Lol xD

Anyone else feel this way?

Silly picture of a silly school moment from the one sim I play when she was a child. xD

  • I control this in my game in Managed Households under Configure Neighborhood with Neighborhood Stories Enabled. I can configure all non-played sims in the game while aging is off so that my favorited households are not effected or don't age until I want them to. For example non-played sims can die in an accident but  my households that are favorited will not. Favorited households die when I feel like aging them up but non-played sims in my game are at risk of everything fatal in the game.

  • i want to keep these as an option, even the no aging part because i want to play other household without rushing things out

when i first played The Sims 4 i didn't knew aging off was an option untill i asked it on the other website, i'm glad it was there, i don't want it to dissapear or i'll have to rush things out again

as for other settings, i agree some lifestages are too short especially in short lifestages, maybe some lifestages can be a little longer in short lifestage settings

i agree with Miataplay i still want the option to turn the aging-up off so i can play with other household

sometimes i turn non-active household aging off and sometimes i turn non-active household aging on, it depends on my gameplay

if i'm doing some certain challenges i turn the aging on most of the times, otherwise i turn it off
