EA please listen to us Simmers!
Long time Simmer here. I have been a loyal player since the very first Sims game came out. I have played them all. I also own over 90% of the expansion packs kits etc. ALOT of time and money spent into this franchise. Alot of dedication. This goes for so many loyal players out there who will agree with me on this post. Now I’ve been patient with the bugs, and the very slow process of fixing them throughout the years, but my major complaint here is that EA does not really take in what the fans have to say. They keep pumping out these expansion packs that create even more bugs instead of actually making the game into what it should have been.
EA: Simmers want a free roaming world again! It felt so authentic and realistic! Landscaping in the sims 4 is very cartoony and non realistic. In the sims 3, the worlds felt very realistic and there wasn’t loading screens just to visit a neighbor let alone someone in the same building as you (For Rent). I understand that the game is supposed to be quirky, but EA, we all fell in love with your game because it felt very realistic! You took that from us with the Sims 4.
More build mode/Buy mode items! We spend a pretty penny on your expansions. Simmers want more beds, dressers, wall paints etc. The selections even with owning most of the expansions are grim to say the least. We want updated, stylish designs that make sense. I feel like I have to settle most of the time with whatever or download CC.
Please bring the color wheel back! The worst thing about decorating in The Sims 4 is the lack of colors/fabric choices. In the sims 3, you could customize all the furniture. Now, we see a cute bed that looks perfect with a dresser from another pack, the wood grain/metals and fabric don’t match. Or, you do put a whole matching set together and it still doesn’t match due to the lighting/shadowing in the game. Remember EA, most of us Simmers play to create/decorate. You gave us that in the sims 3, but took it away in the sims 4.
I know there are many many more things we Simmers want out of the game, but these are my BIGGEST complaints as well as most of the sims community from what I’ve gathered over the years. We want Sims 4 to grow and modernize with the times, but go back to the sims 3 in many ways if that makes sense. I know it can be done. We are not getting a Sims 5, so let’s start revamping The Sims 4 into the game it should have always been.
EA, the best thing to do at this point is fix the game. Actually fix the game, not just put out these patches to fix the bugs and glitches we experience from time to time. You have developed one of the biggest fan bases out there who have been very loyal, time to pay it forward EA. Let’s be loyal on both ends. Then, you will have fans forever!
