EA please stop locking event aspirations/traits/objects after event is over.

I also want to mention this fact.  Every time I have an issue in my game, the very 1st question is - have you removed all your cc and mod's. do that and if the problem is still there let us know.  So I see cc and mod as nothing more than an excuse to blame the player for the issue with the game.  Is that harsh?  Perhaps, but it is my opinion and I am not pointing fingers at anyone and I will always refuse to use cc or mod because of this reason also.   One thing I can say about me through all this - since it has been well over 4 or 5 years since I lost the aspiration/trait/bb, to never get it again because of cc.  Hold a grudge much... apparently I do! 

I too would like aspiration to remain available. I have a sim whose goal it is to complete all aspirations. Unfortunately she can not do the kindness aspiration because I started this challenge after the event. Others who do this challenge might never get a chance for the sticky finger aspiration because they missed the blast from the past event.

Similarly some simmers might run into problems when downloading base game sims that use traits from an event. 

Traits and aspirations should remain accessible for all simmers after an event ends. 

IMHO, after any event all rewards should be given free in an update. Those who participate in the events just get the items/rewards first.

I would prefer that all aspirations, traits and rewards were kept enabled.  I don't just want the BB/CAS items..... I want the aspiration and traits that I earned but lost - I did them - I just want it back.  My game seems to have more negative, malicious, and angry behavior then ever before.  I miss this aspiration/trait!!!!  I honestly do not care about the reward pictures!  

rujuta4me​ you can get these items and traits back if you're not averse to using cheats. The pictures are available in debug bb.showhiddenobjects, and bb.showliveeditobjects, I didn't do the challenge and wondered what they were from actually. Also the traits can be added with cheats too. I add it for some of my Sims with testingcheats true (disables console achievements for console players) then traits.equip_trait Kindness_Ambassador . It doesn't address why they were lost in the first place but it will get them back at least.

It would be good if these challenges were always available. There's a few random awards in debug from them and I'm a bit sad I missed out!

simsplayer818​   I will try that... traits.equip_trait Kindness_Ambassador.  When I tried it I did - traits.equp_trait KindnessAmbassador and it didn't work.  I didn't separate the words.  I do know that I have not been successful at all with using cheats offline for some reason and online, is sketchy... some work some don't.  I have not touched cc or mod with since losing this.  and it was well over 5 - 6 years now since this "event" was done.  I really liked the aspiration too because it actually engaged other sims to participate.  I'll come back and let you know if it works.  My game has never had cc or mod in it since I lost everything.  I try to play the way the game was originally designed however, humans do the programming, players all have different programs to play the game, so errors will happen.  I am empathetic about that.  I too am human, I err a lot!  🤣

I think you should be able to find the rewards and sims with this trait on the gallery.
