HEVEN & HELL expansion pack

The Sims 4: Heaven & Hell Expansion Pack

Hear me out:

I don’t know how to make suggestions, but if someone can get the attention of the Sims makers, it would be amazing.

Concept Overview:

The "Heaven & Hell" expansion pack introduces a new supernatural dimension for The Sims, where each Sim's afterlife is determined by their deeds in life. This journey begins after your Sim passes away, with a dramatic trial that determines if they ascend to Heaven or are condemned to Hell. Players can explore a new world filled with rewards, challenges, or eternal consequences.

The Trial of the Grave:

After a Sim dies, they must face the "Trial of the Grave," an interactive event that evaluates their actions and personality. The trial is presided over by celestial and infernal beings who weigh the choices the Sim made in life. Did they treat others kindly? Did they steal or cheat? Every action has consequences, and the trial can lead to three outcomes: eternal paradise in Heaven, punishment in Hell, or being stuck as a ghost.

Players can influence the trial by selecting arguments in favor of or against the Sim. You could hide bad deeds or emphasize the good ones, adding a strategic layer to the judgment phase. The result isn't just based on a moral meter—it's complex and sometimes relies on luck.

If ghosts fail to complete their tasks in time, they risk either being bound to the mortal world indefinitely, unable to interact with Heaven or Hell, or perishing entirely. These restless ghosts must rely on new opportunities or help from living Sims to get back on track and earn enough points to move on.

Heaven:

For Sims who led a virtuous life or passed their trial, Heaven awaits. Heaven is a peaceful world above the clouds, filled with lush gardens, golden palaces, and endless joy. Sims in Heaven can enjoy:

  • Heavenly Rewards: Luxuries they were deprived of in life, like fulfilling relationships, rare luxuries, or even a dream home.
  • Angelic Powers: Bless other Sims, grant positive moodlets, improve skills, or extend afterlife happiness.
  • Gardens of Eternal Bliss: Explore gardens, harvest divine fruits, attend feasts, or play harp concerts.
  • Heavenly Missions: Guide descendants, help others make good choices, or spread joy in Heaven.
  • Heavenly Pets: Celestial pets like ethereal birds or angelic kittens.
  • Heavenly Festival: Participate in "Cloud Bounce" parties, celestial banquets, or divine karaoke.

Hell:

For Sims who lived wickedly or failed their trial, Hell is their destination. Hell is an eerie underworld filled with fiery landscapes and mischievous spirits. Players who enjoy chaos can indulge in:

  • Punishments & Torture: As Satan, decide punishments based on Sims' sins.
  • Infernal Interactions: Form alliances, appease Satan, or attempt escape.
  • Demonic Powers: Curse others, create chaos, or haunt the living.
  • Escape Challenge: Undertake a nearly impossible challenge to escape.
  • Hellish Pets: Mischievous pets like imps or fire-breathing dogs.
  • Rebellion Week: Join with others to humorously rebel against Satan.

Secret Words:

Throughout the expansion, Sims may find "Secret Words" that unlock abilities or new areas. These words can temporarily allow a ghost to visit Heaven, grant immunity to a punishment, or unlock hidden areas.

Heaven & Hell Cross-Interactions:

Heavenly and Hellish Sims can interact across realms. Heavenly Sims can save lost souls in Hell, while Hellish Sims can sabotage Heaven. These interactions lead to dramatic stories of redemption or rivalry.

New Traits, Aspirations, and Careers:

  • Traits: Sims can have traits like "Virtuous," "Sinner," "Redeemer," or "Tempted."
  • Aspirations: New aspirations like "Achieve Eternal Bliss" or "Rule the Underworld."
  • Careers: "Celestial Guide" to help others in the afterlife or "Demonic Tempter" to sow chaos.

Afterlife Customization:

Customize Heaven or Hell to suit a Sim's personality—design gardens or chaotic underworlds.

Living World Impact:

Heavenly or Hellish Sims can influence the living by giving blessings or curses.

Afterlife Parties:

Sims can throw themed parties—Heavenly Sims can host celestial banquets, while Hellish Sims have infernal raves.

In-Between World:

If a ghost completes their tasks but has a balance of good and bad points, they enter an "In-Between World." This realm combines Heaven and Hell.

In-Between World Details:

  • Environment: Contrasting landscapes reflecting the Sim's good or evil leanings.
  • Powers and Abilities: Limited access to both heavenly and demonic powers.
  • Dual Quests: Unique quests that can tip the balance towards Heaven or Hell.
  • Alliances and Rivalries: Form alliances with angelic or demonic beings.
  • Judgment Opportunities: Periodic judgments to determine the Sim's fate.
  • Social Interactions: Inspire or frighten the living.
  • Living World Impact: Influence the living with blessings or curses.

The In-Between World adds complexity to the afterlife, giving Sims a chance to explore their duality and decide their eternal fate.

Summary:

The Sims 4: Heaven & Hell is about exploring morality, consequences, and the joys or torments of the afterlife. Players decide which Sims deserve eternal happiness, who faces eternal damnation, and how legacies live on.

I'm all for playing an Angel & Demon with wings.  I actually made a Fallen Angel Couple.  The Angel from above who wasn't Righteous enough & the Demon from below who wasn't Evil enough.  They fell in love & had triplets.                                   (FYI:  The Angel is actually a Spellcaster & her Demon man is a Vampire)                                                                                                That being said, I'm glad that the Sims Team didn't go there with actually making the Pack.  It would be too sacrilegious.     I'm all for the underworld play that's coming to the game.  However, I would still like it if we got Fairies that can have Angel like wings & Demon like wings.

  • I like this idea but at the same time I would want the option for customisation.  I'm a fan of Paradise Lost so I'd like the option to toy around with the ideas of good vs evil rather than only sticking to the default.
