Yeah... the wonderful and yet problematic thing regarding the Sims is that it has attracted all kinds of players that extend from those who like to just follow, those who like to control, those who don't care about gameplay but want to create... I actually thought not too long ago that they should have probably made various difficulty modes. Easy would be sort of like what we have now. Medium would be a bit more like Sims 2. Hard would be more like The Sims. Easy gives most control over your Sims, medium gives a sort of "You sure you want to do this?" on occasions, hard is "Ha! Ha! Doubt you saw that coming!"
