I would love it if we could add all books to the bookcases, or have checkboxes so we could pick books to add multiple books at once to the bookcases. It gets really tedious having to add books over and over.
Also, I think the libraries should be fully stocked with all the books. I mean, that's what libraries are for, isn't it?
You're absolutely right about library bookcases! They should contain all available books by default since that's what libraries are for. Your suggestion would make libraries function more realistically!

Bookcases on the lot should not share inventory for one. I also had no idea how they all end up being empty and the books not being in sims their inventories either.
Sims 3 handled it way better. Even visually showed if it was a full book case or not.
