I've tested this in my game with both "Backyard TV Projector" from Little Campers kit and "Projectotron Outdoor Movie Screen" from Movie Hangout stuff and they both broke in the rain. You'd think something that's designed to be placed outside would be waterproof as outdoor projectors often are in real life so this is an obvious oversight. Imagine if you were playing in a super rainy world like Brindleton Bay so you just can't have an outdoor projector at all which is kinda ridiculous.
