Life & Death EP Longer Soul's Journey

Hey! I recently started up a new family (based on my two MySims saves) to play the Blast to the Past event - which I love by the way - and I like to play with my lifespan set to long. Recently, my female sim finished her soul's journey, making her have lived a fulfilled life! ...which is weird to me, because she's only a young adult I created a few days ago. She only checked one thing off of her bucket list before! My male sim hasn't gotten there yet, but he's close too. 

What do you guys think? Do you like the features added by Life & Death at all? I think there's room for improvement, or at least a way to make the soul's journey progress not as quickly. I'm not that eager to see them die, they're too young to have lived a fulfilled life!
