More playable careers: a lifetime simmer's wish

TheSimsDirectI've been playing The Sims 4 since the day it was released, and over the years, we've seen some amazing expansions, updates, and improvements. But if there's one thing I'd love to see in future content, it's more playable careers.

We've had great additions like the Doctor, Detective, and Scientist careers, but imagine the possibilities if you expanded even further. Some ideas that come to mind.

  • Dentist- Run a clinic, perform checkups, fix cavities, and manage patients.
  • Construction Worker- Start as a laborer and work up to designing and managing full-scale projects.
  • Mechanic- Own an auto shop, repair cars, restore vintage models, or run a street racing garage.
  • Firefighter- Respond to emergencies, save Sims from burning buildings, and improve fire safety in neighborhoods.
  • Teacher/Professor- Teach students, give lectures, grade assignments, and build relationships with different generations of Sims.
  • Lawyer- Investigate cases, defend clients, prosecute criminals, or become a high-powered judge.
  • Fashion Designer- Sketch outfits, sew designs, organize runway shows, and build a brand.
  • Musician/Band Member- Start as a street performer, land gigs, record albums, and go on tour.
  • Tattoo Artist- Open a parlor, design custom tattoos, and build a reputation in the creative world. (Could be biker club themed)
  •

I know some may argue about file size and performance, but honestly, I think the Sims community would be more than willing to sacrifice storage space for meaningful gameplay updates. If games like GTA and Call of Duty can take up massive amounts of data for new content, why can't The Sims 4 do the same.

As stated earlier it's just an idea and wish, but hope this gives some feedback on what some simmers want to see as this is our life away from life. It's the place we can be whatever we want to be and create any reality that we have in mind at the time. Thank you for all the other content that you have put out over the years and regardless if my ideas are used or not I will forever remain a lifelong simmer
