More Traits in CAS

Only 3 Traits is so limiting. There should be 5 Trait slot instead of 3 for YA, Adults and Elders.

  • Elder: 5 traits
  • Adult: 5 traits
  • Young Adult: 5 traits
  • Teens: 4 traits
  • Children: 3 traits
  • Toddlers: 2 traits

Basically whatever this mod does: https://www.patreon.com/posts/more-traits-in-62838078
I cannot play the game without this mod it's my holy grail. PS players should be able to play this way too.
There's already a mod for it maybe idk EA can hire them to implement it in game the way they do Creator Kits.

Since EA is starting to take popular mods and turn them into packs (WW turn-ons in LS, Livein Business in B&H) and is already working with CC-modders, why not?

I think the reason it is with growing together is because because the gameplay is programmed to not only over effect relationship views between family members, but they made it so gameplay can effect how the sim views themselves. So it kind of is a system tied to the specific ep. It doesn't seem fair, but that is how it works. Like for example, I want the "cuddle in bed" option from Lovestruck, but I am not willing to have the some of rest of the gameplay mechanics  thatI will never use. It will most likely ruin my sims' relationships because I do not fo romance with svery couple. Some of my sim couples have almost no romance. You don't need family gameplay to enjoy growing together, but flashes out the gameplay mechanics that you may see as necessary.

I can understand that to an extent, but maybe just because I am Sims 3 spoiled, but it also seems like reaching. Actions/skills/unique features/premium objects I understand tied to a pack, and I totally get the frustration when someone wants just one thing. I personally do not see 5 traits as necessary (I mean I could cheat add them if I want), but I just would assume it a base game thing, it doesn't seem like an overly unique thing adding more traits in the create-a-sim. But as I said, it could just be I am Sims 3 spoiled.

Really you don't need families/children to enjoy Growing Together? What does it offer that is not family/children oriented? Because I will buy a pack if there is enough features that I think I could get use (and on sale LOL). Like funny enough, I took a chance at Lovestruck (because on sale), I am not the biggest on coupling and dating, but I have noticed my household has fleshed out some gameplay and depth, and they autonomously finally do some couples things (flirting/Woohoo and get flirty easier on their own, without my direction for a change). I haven't seen relationship decay or the negatives yet, but I am still trying it out.

The milestones are for any sim. While it helps make family gameplay more meaningful, it offers something for each sim individually.

  • i would love to have more traits as an option but i'd like to add we need more basegame traits too

i know we get more traits but that's mostly in the pack only, there are things that can be in basegame like "loves children" to name 1 trait

only then once in the game we'll get more trait slots like you've described👍

agreed, the changing traits should stay in "Growing Together"

but more trait slots wise i think that part should be in basegame👍
