Cats & Dogs already have a Veterinary Career... unless you mean one that isn't active.
'Not sure about how I feel in regards to dogs and cats having careers in entertainment, but the service and security careers would be cool.
Update for Veterinary care... I could see preventative shots and paying license fees, but getting into specifics like heart worms kind of crosses the balance of realism and fantasy of the game. As it goes, all the illnesses, minus fleas, are silly, made-up ones... much like all illnesses in the game.
Update for designating beds for pets and training them to use them when they go to sleep would be nice. Though if they are only napping, they can nap where they please.
Update to bird baths... Some players might like the chores added in. I'd probably stop using them, though. I do like the idea of adding bird animations.
Update to pet care... again, some players might like the chores added in, but if we go into that, we may as well update the infants, toddlers and children to learn to brush their teeth, clean their ears properly as well. As for our older Sims, that would be a hygiene necessity with consequences if the Sim neglects to do it regularly.
Update to pet behavior... I'm pretty sure that is one of the options in the hidden traits. They get downright fixated on it whenever it is turned on.
Cross Pack things... Update to butler? Cool. Update to knitting? Yes. Update to flower arranging? What does that have to do with animals? Update to weddings? Eh... good luck with that one. Wedding Stories still is not a walk in the park. Dog yoga? Er... I guess so?
Pet Store... sure. Like a lot of things, I feel things like stores should be tweaked in the game and made a necessity, though. When it comes to shopping for clothes, it seems silly since you tend to go into CAS and already give them the styles you want them to wear... multiple ones even. With groceries, unless you use a certain lot trait, your fridge is apparently always stocked as long as you have the funds. You can get any object from going into build/buy. A lot of things these days your Sim can just order over the phone and have magically appear in their inventory. The only thing my Sims ever really need to go out shopping for is vet health treats.
Bird Cages and Perches... Well if they ever introduce birds properly to the game... maybe. But by the looks of the crow in Life and Death, it is connected to that perch and that perch alone... much like how the rodents in My First Pet Stuff are connected to their homes.
Grooming Spa lot... I'm left thinking of Spa Day but them doing a separate pack centered on animals and not so much on this game pack you are promoting.
Companion Birds would likely also be part of some other pack they might cook up. A pack that introduces the other sorts of pets that are missing from the game. Also, L&D's bird is a crow, not a raven.
There is a Dog Park lot in Cats & Dogs already... with an agility course. No competitions, though.
Nicer pet beds indeed!
Er... dog houses of various styles... I could see them doing maybe two or three options that are standard... but the ones listed? For that sort of berth, it would be more interesting if they made it so you could go into build mode and make a functional dog house in whatever style you want it to be.
CAP assets? It is always nice to be able to find your breed. Additions on that is always good. Seasonal themed collars and charms, costumes and so on... would likely make more sense if added to Seasons when holidays and weather changes actually take place.

Ah a point by point nitpick of my post….so enjoyable! I'd tell you what you can go do…but you likely have a point by point list.

I'm not sure what the context of your reply is, but that is just me. I'm not purposely trying to ''nitpick". I'm just responding to what you have written in regards to personal opinions and in some cases curiosity as to how EA would make the ideas work in the game.
Ah... reading your third sentence a third time. Ah. Got it. I'm sorry you interpreted that way. Thanks for trying to keep your response relatively neutral? 🤔 admittedly, when people do that, I don't really catch on. Again, sorry. That is about all I can say.
