I agree and find it very strange that we don't have brooms to sweep up messes and bugs..🤣

Not everyone has a vacuum cleaner and witches don't use their brooms to clean?!

The team needs to update Off The Grid with a real Off The Grid kit or pack featuring items you would truly use Off The Grid- like a fire pit for cooking your meals and a hole in the ground for taking a champion poo.😕

Seriously we need a kit or pack that features more Off The Grid items. Sulani has a fire pit to cook meals and it would be nice to see this version of the fire pit in a pack or kit featuring no electricity.🙂

When cleaning up puddles, the mop will also clean up dust. It's strange that they didn't enable it to also be used when dust accumulates on the floor. 

Totally agree with you. I've suggested this gameplay as a BG update, as a Bust the Dust refresh and also as a gameplay for a witches stuff pack. I remeber playing Realm of Magic for the first time years ago, seeing the amazing brooms that came there and wondering if we could use them for cleaning, but for my sadness we couldn't, and still can't.

Craziest thing is that spell casters can have brooms to fly on so brooms actually are in the game but can't be used for their most common purpose.

I figured they did not want to bother with an animation for sweeping. (Semi-joking.) Considering Sims will still try to clean up puddles outside and vacuum them up inside, Sims probably would laugh upon seeing a broom of all things to be used for cleaning rather than riding. If they ever do introduce functional brooms, I hope to see a cat ride on it like they do the robot vacuums.

They really do need to make more Off-the-Grid items as at least a kit. I'd like for them to do a bit of a Base Game refresh in terms of woodworking. Your Sim can build the Handiness skill to make an OtG tub and a toilet. For some reason they cannot craft an OtG sink or shower, though. (If we ever do get brooms that function like actual brooms rather than vehicles, they should be able to craft their own brooms even!)

That little gramophone music player in base game could be made to function OtG, the gramophone reward from the Grim Event and the ones teen Sims can get from prom should be OtG. 

Cottage Living introduced a computer that looks like a typewriter. What an absolute miss! They should have made a type writer for OtG purposes. Heck, before that, with Parenthood, there came writing in diaries/journals for kids. Let a Sim write their manuscripts and novels via a notebook and send it to the editor/publisher by snail mail.

I totally get what you mean about it being strange that we don’t have brooms in the eco pack—it feels like such a perfect fit!
