npc sims constantly cooking

so i was trying to host a christmas dinner in the Sims 4, which is quite literally impossible because 6/9 guests just KEEP ON COOKING MORE. and they even take out new things to cook from the fridge while another npc is cooking, which means that they don‘t have a counter top to cook on, so they leave their utensils lying around everywhere. Now I can’t even enjoy that event because I have to keep cleaning up their stuff

I‘m so sick of this omg I don’t need 10 huge plates of food for my household of 4. Fix that bug
