Please make Prom night compatible with all kinds of players.
Prom every weekend is only compatible with short lifespans. I read this decision was made with rotational players in mind, but please consider the experience of Simmers who play it on long lifespans too. You could simply let us schedule our own Prom nights, or at least add an option in the gameplay settings to choose how often Prom appears on our calendars.
I think Sim lifespans and season lengths should be prioritized more when designing major life events like these, rather than player style. Because Rotational players are still able to enjoy them by timing their rotations correctly, but non-rotational players have no other options for them other than questioning their sim's life unless the developer helps them out TwT
In general, it would be preferable if default settings for major life events (like Prom) was compatible with long lifespans and long seasons, rather than the shorter ones. Why because if a Simmer turns off aging entirely, it only means they want to play with a single Sim even longer than the long lifespan. If this is annoying for Simmers who play with long lifespan too, imagine how frustrating it is for those who play with aging completely turned off. Wouldn't it make sense to have events to be compatible with long lifespan? And if a Simmer wants to play short or medium lifespans/seasons, major events like Prom could be automatically adjusted to fit when they select short or medium lifespan in the gameplay settings. Please consider this. Thank you :)
