Relationship decay is too fast in love struck

Since buying love struck I’m finding it really hard to keep up the romance with my sims because their satisfaction and relationship progress decays so fast when I move between households or don’t do romantic interactions every single day and it’s incredibly frustrating. It’s especially frustrating when it tanks moving between households. 

I can understand a relationship suffering if there is a lack of interactions (though not that fast) but it should not be tanking just by playing in a different household it’s incredibly discouraging and doesn’t make any sense.
