Rewards magnets

The magnets are not designed to go on the fridge. They are able to be placed on the Magnetic Memories Board item that came with the event. 

I did exactly the same thing 🤦! I wanted to put them on metal things and thought what the ...? Then I found the little board they're supposed to go on. I'm glad the Kitchen Clutter kit has a fridge with things on the fridge door though, to give a family feel to a kitchen.

I have to admit that alone is the reason why they will never be used in my game. I don't use the postcards for the same reason. In real life magnets, postcards, holiday greeting cards and kids drawings go on the fridge in most homes. The game would be better if they could. What good is a magnetic board that only takes magnets? And what good is magnets when they can't go on the surfaces they would normally be used on?

I actually don't mind that they don't go on the fridge. 

We had a large magnetic board in my home where we placed magnets. We had a huge collection. The kid's schoolwork, invitations, and other reminders were adhered with magnets.

I have the magnets on the magnetic board in my sim child's room where he can enjoy them and reminisce  about the event. 

Having said that, I do think they should fit on the fridge for those who prefer fridge magnets.

Let me clarify that I don't mind the magnetics board at all, I just wish that the sim team had a more holistic approach when creating content in general to allow people to use them in more flexible ways. 

• Medals can be placed on flat surfaces, or be put in the large medal case which takes up floor space. But they cannot be put on a wall, on the cork-board, in a frame or on the magnetics board. Why not? 
• Magnets can only go on the magnetics board. Why not fridges too?
• Post cards can only go on the cork-board, or on the animal cage - but why not fridges or the magnetics board?
• Kids drawings can go on walls, but not frames, magnetic boards, family board or fridges, again why not? 
• Endless amount of objects can't be placed on shelves

We have so many objects in game that can only be used in one or possibly two specific ways and it limits their use immensely. By thinking through more optional uses when creating decor items, giving them plenty of optional placements, would make each sim home more unique as players use their imagination to figure out where this particular sim-family would put their mementos. 

I just place postcards on the walls instead because I prefer it. I use the move objects cheat to place things where they don't usually fit, but that definitely comes with it's own problems, especially if it's a picture type item.
