Young Teens Idea Part 2: The Expansion Pack following the Young Teen update: Growing Up Expansion Pack (Just a detailed Idea I have)

CAS would include

• Lots of new piercings
• Regular hair colors, plus new hair colors like purple, different dyed hairstyles and colors
• Facial hair options
• Pimples
• Maybe some new makeup styles
• Some clothes that Teens have
• A section called ‘ temporary tattoos’ 

(CAS needs to have colorful hair options, unique hairstyles, crazy makeup, and different fashion statements because being a young teen is all about exploring what you like and who you are)

New aspirations for life stage - like 

• Trend Setter - this Sim wants to be popular, maintain many friendships, and have a social media presence 
• Soul Searcher - this sim is trying to figure out some stuff and may want to change their hair color more often, or change their style, or try new hobbies

New traits for life stage - like

• Moody - this sim experiences frequent mood swings
• Insecure - this sim is insecure about growing up and needs lots of reassurance from their caregiver - they can become embarrassed or tense in social situations more often
• Class Clown - This sim finds it easy to interact with others, they love telling jokes and making others smile

Build/Buy Stuff

• Decorative magazines (functional bookshelf)
• Posters
• More decorative makeup, cologne, and perfumes
• Bean bag chair
• Messy room clutter (similar to the messy room clutter in parenthood)
• New desk styles
• New loft bed styles
• Headphones clutter 
• Decorative in the box action figures or collectibles to put on shelves
• New mirrors
• New rug styles
• Decorative alarm clock
• A new bed that looks like an unmade bed
• Decorative overflowing laundry basket
• Hair dye box you can set in the bathroom (with a function to select a new hair color for your sim without entering c.a.s.)

Young Teens Idea Part 3: Gameplay/Features

Idea #1: Mini Crisis

• Inspired Copycat - This sim suddenly has been inspired to change their look. (Can be triggered by reading a teen magazine, or admiring a caregiver or older sibling sim) This sim may want to change their hairstyle or color, or change their clothing style. (So you don’t have to switch to CAS in the middle of your game, you can click on mirror and click randomize outfit, or randomize hair color, or use the hair dye box I discussed in part two that would be in build/buy)
• Feeling Misunderstood - This sim may feel tense, sad, or angry because they feel like no one understands them. (Can be triggered by social interactions) This sim can talk to caregivers, friends, older siblings, or write it out on a computer. 
• Suddenly Self Conscious - (Can be triggered by showering, bathing, or talking in front of the mirror) This sim has noticed something different about them-self, perhaps a pimple, stretch mark, or hairy leg - this sim is afraid others will notice. This sim can talk about their insecurities with an older sibling, caregiver, or friend.

(Depending on the relationship with older siblings, maybe the sibling teases them, or maybe they are understanding and offer advice)

Idea #2: Growth Spurts 

A popup notification will notify players that their sim is in a growth spurt stage and may become exhausted quicker, be uncomfortable from aching body, and have an increase in appetite

Young Teens Idea Part 4:

World: A beautiful new world with a movie theater. A movie theater would be a great new location for dates or for young teens to hangout. A pool lot would be another great location for young teens to hangout. An arcade (If you have Kids Room Stuff Pack you can add the voidcritter battle station too, and if you have Get Together you can add the arcade game) This is a place for young teens to gain the video gaming skill with various games, and to hangout and chill; don’t worry there’ll be a small concession stand for snacks like nachos and cheese, pretzels, candy, chips, pop, etc. A skate park I think this pack should add skateboards because other Sim life stages have bikes, so young teens can use skateboards. Or I also thought maybe the world could come with a mall for the young teens to hangout. The mall is mostly decoration but has a functional food court and arcade. 

Gameplay Feature: When sending your young teen on a date, the caregiver Sim gets a popup menu and you can decide to either...

• (1. Go with young teen as chaperone 
• (2. Send a chaperone (then pick an older sim) 
• (3. Send Alone 
• (4. Too young to date (this cancels setting up for a date) 

Gameplay Feature: Young Teens can do small jobs like ‘lawn mower, babysitter, or dog walker (If Cats & Dogs)’ Young Teens can sign up for after school activities like the football team, the basketball team, the art club, the drama club, the scout thing if you have Seasons installed, etc. The young teen will go to the activity on their own, similar to the Parenthood pack and volunteering. The activities would improve the correct skill. Young teens should be able to cry into the giant stuffed bear, because sometimes being a teen is overwhelming and frustrating. Kind of like the dart board, there should be a new indoor basketball net that can hang on wall, and needs some space to function but is still functional indoors.

Young Teens Idea Part 5: How the Young Teen Stage may interact with other packs:

Growing Together - Milestones Ideas

I know that if you have High School Years and Growing Together teen sims can hit a milestone of puberty but if there were Young Teens I think that milestone should be transferred to the young teens. 

‘Firsts’ Milestone Category:

• First Use Of Deodorant
• First Date
• First Crush
• First Kiss (On Cheek)
• First Breakup
• First Growth Spurt
• First Small Job
• First day of middle school

Other categories in Growing Together Milestones I did not write ideas down for but you get the idea 

Confidence System: These Sims can gain and lose confidence just like children Sims

High School Years: If you have High School Years installed young teens can shave, wash face, and gain pimples too

Stuff Pack Idea: Pet Shop Stuff Pack
New lot type - Pet Store
The pet store has pet snakes
Pet birds
Pet  lizards
Pet frogs
Pet fish (new interaction children and older can feed fish)
Pet turtles
Pet Ferret
Pet bunnies 

Things you could add if you build your own pet shop and had other packs: 
Pet dogs to adopt (If Cats & Dogs)
Pet cats to adopt (If Cats & Dogs)
Pet baby chickens to adopt (If Cottage Living)
Pet Rodents like the guinea pig (If My First Pet Stuff)
Rabbit (bunnies) outfits can be bought at pet store (If Cottage Living)
Dog outfits can be bought at pet store (If Cats & Dogs + My First Pet Stuff)
Cat outfits can be bought at pet store (If Cats & Dogs + My First Pet Stuff)
Decoration for stores has different leashes
Can buy dog beds, cat and dog toys, food bowls, and animal treats (If Cats & Dogs + My First Pet Stuff)
Can purchase bird seed
Can purchase bird feeder (If Backyard Stuff Pack)
Decorative bird houses
Decorative kennels, toys like a hamster wheel, food, bird cages, fish tanks, etc.

Or if not adding a whole new animal themed stuff pack then do a refresh to the My First Pet Stuff Pack to add snakes, birds, lizards, frogs, turtles, ferrets, bunnies, etc.

Open For Business in Sims 4... I want to live in my business, operate it and socialize with my customers like a community/multifunctional lot. 

Thousands of simmers have wanted this for years and years.🙂

Better teen stuff like we had with the sims 2 teen style stuff since we have no cars.

Playtime Stuff Pack (A Pack Idea)

• Decorative comic books, spaceships, items that look like toys, stack of board games, new posters, action figures and other kid collectible toys, new paintings
• The nontoxic washable art table for toddlers to create scribbles (+Imagination Skill)
• Functional chalk board for kids to put in room and make cute drawings (+Creative Skill)
• Decorative dolls and action figures still in box to put on shelves, if your child sim resists the urge to ‘open and play with’ and save it for their adult years they then can ‘sell’ it for a good amount of Simoleons
• More Animal Themed footie pajamas for children, toddlers, and infants
• Elephant In The Box for toddlers, children, and infants (like Jack in the Box - I just love elephants lol)
• The shape box for toddlers to play with and try to get the triangle in the right spot, or circle in the right spot (+Thinking Skill) (This would sit out of the toy box like the nesting blocks do)
• That Annoying Cow a toy toddlers can use and it makes the noise of a cow, also there is a pig and sheep swatch, and the toddlers copy the sound learning about animals (+thinking skill)
• Loft beds with slides, the beds look like a castle and the slide is the draw bridge
• Functional park baby swings that work for Infants and Toddlers

Cats & Dogs Small Update (An Update I Wish For)

• Dogs should be able to sleep at foot of the bed with adult sims and the sim can gain a good moodlet from it too
• There should be a toy that is rope and you should be able to play tug-a-war with pet

A Neighborly Update (An Update I Wish For)

• Just like once you get to know a sim, you can see in their profile who their spouse is, I wish we could ask about children and see them there too
• If your Sim meets a child or teen I wish they could ask about siblings to that sim (Then a popup notification would tell you their siblings)
• Growing Together - Children Sims should be able to ask each other if they have lost their first tooth, or learned to ride a bike yet
• Growing Together - If you're friends with other parents you should be able to ask the parent about infant milestones and they'll give you a random milestone their infant has completed (Then a popup notification would give you a the milestone the other parent’s infant has completed)
• Parenthood - You should be able to ask other parents about phases and they can give you a fun little story about their child going through a phase (the information would appear in the notification section)
• Growing Together Milestones: Children & Teens - Became top of class

Other Update Ideas (An Update I Wish For)

• Toddler Update: Wish they could nap on parents too, like infants can
• Child Sim & Infant Sim: Wish there was an animation where the child sim could ask to hold infant, they would sit on couch and an adult sim would hand them the infant
• For Rent: I wish there was a new lot type ‘Vacation Rental Units’ or ‘Hotel’ lot type

an in-game zoo would be fun!! A new lot type, where you can go and see exotic animals. Look but don't touch - like - you can see the Tiger but you can't have him as a pet. Haha There could be monkeys and zebras, giraffes - the whole lot. Maybe a souvenir store where your Sims can purchase plushies and T-shirts of their favorite animals - ballcaps with the zoo logo on it - that sort of thing. A snack bar with hot dogs, popcorn, cotton candy, funnel cakes - that sort of thing. The Zoo could be a whole day trip. 

Following this idea - why can't we feed fish in the game? There are a dozen fish tanks... but you never feed fish, you never clean their tanks, and they never die. While other animals in the game eat, poop, and expire. Seems like an oversight.
