Sims 4 DEATH
I think we should have a death by sadness in the game. Maybe it could be called depressed.

DoggyCupcake with Lovestruck, Sims can die from a Broken Heart. I think that's possibly as close to the death you're describing without possible real world triggers. Here's the list of possible death types in the game by pack.
