I love ALL the ideas on this! I do think the Caribbean islands would be an ideal location too, make sure any marina would have a bar! I would like a combination of island based living and boat based living. It wouldn't be a water based world without some form of boat! I love the undersea archeology idea too, that could tie in so much local lore.
