Sims Cloud Save – Auto Backup & Version History

With recent expansions and updates (such as For Rent or Pack Toggle System), many players experience corrupted or broken save files. This issue causes the loss of hundreds of hours of progress and often makes players hesitant to continue investing time in the game.

A potential solution would be to introduce a Sims Cloud Save system:

Cloud Storage: Each player would get up to 10 cloud save slots.

Auto-Backup: While playing online, the game would automatically back up progress to the cloud every 10 minutes, ensuring players always have a safe copy even in case of sudden crashes.

Version History: The system should keep older versions of saves, allowing players to roll back to a stable state (e.g., loading a save from one day before the corruption happened).

This feature would greatly reduce frustration, protect players’ investment of time, and provide peace of mind that their progress is always safe—regardless of patches, crashes, or unexpected bugs.
