Sims should put collected meals on a counter instead of in their inventory

Editing for clarity. When collecting food from a waffle maker, pizza oven etc Non played sims/sims you can’t control that are acting as employees in a cafe, restaurant and other similar businesses should automatically put the food on a counter or table instead of in their inventories. As it stands now the food ends up just going ti waste because you can’t make them serve it or pull it from their inventory yourself and it’s incredibly frustrating.

I know this can be avoided by just getting a played sim from your household to do the task but that can make assigning employee tasks pretty limiting/ends up leaving a lot of heavy lifting to the player sim or sims.
