Suggestion - Opt out of Events

I would like to suggest an option to not participate in Events, specifically like when we  cancel in-game holidays in each save, allow us to remove or temporarily disable the event tasks and event NPC from following our sims around. 

Simmers often dedicate a specific save file for the events or would prefer to get around to the quests in their own time. We should want to complete the tasks for the fun of it and not begrudgingly completing them in hopes they can play in peace with out being bugged about it.
