Testers for new update to prevent breaks?
Was there no way to identify this issue would happen? I may be wrong but I feel like if playtesters were used to test out updates before theyre fully released we wouldnt have issues like this happen ...

Two days now and my game still won't launch with any of my cc I have had for years!! Mods work great like Ui cheats, mccc, better build buy, just few examples. But the moment I put any Cas cc or build cc in, I get a pop up saying fail to launch try back in a little while! Really? This is where we are at right now. There are too many ppl experiencing this same exact issue for it to be a player problem. Its feels intentional and If I am UNABLE to get ANY cc to work by this evening, I will be UNINSTALLING this game and take the huge lost I have invested all ready and never look back. And I may be just one player but trust there are many others who too will be so fed up and frustrated and will be done with this game too!! A person will only put up with so much before they have a breaking point and this is the breaking point for me!! I will not be forced to spend money on something that has been free to the public elsewhere for years. All the cc I have, I have spent hours on hours searching and years of collecting. every one of the cc I have enjoyed having and using in my game for years, and now just now this one update caused them to mysteriously stop working? I just don't believe it. I know EA and Sims doesn't care but when their player base starts to drop, it'll be too late and players will move on to something else more reliable. Tonight, will determine if I'll continue to be a sim player or not it's a shame it's got to this point with a video game.

It’s honestly such a kick in the teeth by EA. Most of us have been here since the beginning and it just keeps getting worse. I am still not able to play. Regardless of what I do, people are asking for help from CC and Mod Creators. They are getting bullied for asking. The community is falling apart
This whole situation has been frustrating and unenjoyable. EA and The Sims team really need to address these issues. I wish they would remove Marketplace and allow players to revert to a previous version of the game before the Marketplace updates.
Marketplace should never have been implemented directly into the game—it would have made more sense to keep it within the EA app or as a separate platform. Instead of improving the experience, it has caused more problems than praise. While the concept itself is interesting, it doesn’t seem like many players are actually using or enjoying it, mainly because of the ongoing issues that still haven’t been properly resolved.
At this point, I think EA and The Sims team might only take things seriously if there’s a stronger response from the community—whether that’s a petition, a drop in player activity, or reduced purchases.
Personally, I’ve spent days going through all my mods and CC one by one, using a mod manager and other third-party tools to identify anything broken or outdated. The frustrating part is that most of my mods have already been updated, yet the game still won’t consistently launch. I understand mod conflicts can happen, but I tested everything individually, and that doesn’t seem to be the main issue.
What makes it worse is some of us don't use mods any more due to so many previous experiences of this nature and yet... our games are still broken! I cannot play my game due to a new gallery/library glitch. If you place your own lot creations or gallery downloaded creations from other players and it uses even so much as one item from either Horse Ranch, For Rent, or Growing Together the gallery/library will not recognize your packs are installed correctly and will flag your lot for potential missing content. Yet, when you take the risk to place the lot in your game, all is intact. BUT... BUT because it is flagged as content missing, the lot itself starts to act up in odd ways affecting the gameplay experience. So now these lots are useless and unplayable.
