Most of what you mentioned would not fit the T for teen rating. They are not going to add content that would give the game a mature rating.

I'm not sure about the miscarriage thing. That brings up a lot of pain for a lot of women. But I agree with having a more realistic approach to childbirth as it's kind of ridiculous how it's done now. But, it is a game and creators need to be sensitive to age and religious concerns. When it comes to game vs. reality, some things are better left somewhat cloaked. 😉However since there is a hospital and doctors in game, there could be a need to rush mama sim off to the hospital and a from-the-mom's -head-end view, looking down at the sheet covering her knees where doctor delivering baby is hidden. When doc presents the infant with typical sim humor it could be both more realistic and hilarious. 😁

I'll admit I'm not familar with that mod, but I have seen a few things (that I know come from mods) that I wouldn't mind being added - such as an ultrasound, and more reaction options than "yay a nooboo" from the parents (mother included). I don't know about miscarriage, as it is a big point for many women and does go against the sim's wacky whimsey. As for skin overlays... I could have sworn that they added stretchmarks with Growing Together, but I could be wrong (not on my main computer at the moment.) Probably not quite the same thing as the mod, but likely as close as the Sims Team is willing to get.
