Pack Features -
A New World - Echo Valley
Welcome to the world of Echo Valley, (based on Silesia, Poland) this once heavily populated World, experienced a Mysterious Event that changed the lives of its residents overnight. One morning, all of the resident awake to find the entire World has changed. Derelict homes line the streets, trees are rotten and dead, mysterious glowing orbs fill the air and the sun never rises.
Explore 3 distinct Neighbourhoods -
A dangerous city, where grungy apartments and community lots lay in ruin.
A rural village, where strange Sims reside, including The Traveller.
A unique underground community, where Sims struggle to survive on limited supplies.
Gameplay Features -
In The Sims 4™ Echoes of Reality Expansion Pack, experience a unique branching story as your Sims are tasked with uncovering the truth about the Mysterious Event! Meet a unique NPC called The Traveller who will aid you on your Sims' journey for better or for worse. Discover what has caused the World to change and use your newly acquired Discovery Skill to uncover Anomalies around the World.
In this branching story, your Sims will need to "Keep their wits about them" as lurking around every corner is potential danger waiting to strike at any moment. However if successful, you and your Sims may be able to bring the World of Echo Valley back to how it should be. But if you fail, the consequences could be disastrous!
As an optional choice for all players, you can opt to have the story effect other Worlds in the game. Can only be picked as a new save file!
A new Career - Supply Runner
In The Sims 4™ Echoes of Reality Expansion Pack, there is a new rabbit hole Career for your Sim to join. As a Supply Runner, your Sims will be responsible for gathering food, water, fuel and clothing for Sims in need. Working you way up to the top of the Career has benefits that will help you in your quest to learn the truth of the Mysterious Event.
Two New Skills -
Discovery Skill - This new 15 level Skill is crucial to learning all of the secrets surrounding the Mysterious Event and as you gain each level, new interactions are unlocked but be warned as your level in this Skill increases, the slower it will increase adding some challenge to your gameplay.
Metal Detector Skill - As part of your quest, your Sims can now use a Metal Detector to look for Oddities & Clues, some of these will be important in your quest however we've created plenty of fun metal décor objects and even some metal clothing items for you to find as well. Yes, even your Child Sims can do Metal Detecting with their own Mini-Detector! But that's not all, we've also added in a new Freelance Career option!
Build & Buy -
What would an Expansion Pack be without a ton of new (or in this case old & rusty) build & buy objects!
Because the world of Echo Valley comes in two unique appearances, it's only fitting that we have made sure that every object in this has a wide variety of clean swatches and run down swatches!
But we didn't want to stop there, as part of the Base Game update, we've also added run down swatches to a huge selection of Base Game objects!
Create A Sim -
We wanted to really lean into the grungy vibe with CAS but also add in an element of strange as well. So in this Expansion Pack you'll find a wide variety of worn/ragged clothing for Sims of all ages, but we've also added in a new type of clothing style called Hybrid Fashion! You can find a wide range of clothing items that combine different styles, to make some truly out of this world looks!
Of course, that's not all, we revisited some of the clothes from Base Game and added in 20 combined assets. Don't worry we didn't replace the old assets, those are still available as normal.
