This event was disappointing

I’m not going to lie, the login and collect event was not great. My opinion may be unpopular but I much prefer the events where you would have to play through and complete quests. Even if the rewards are not great, you are still able to play through an event and maybe get to interact with game functions that you don’t often use. This can spark inspiration at least. And to add to the benefits of the quest events, you are able to play through the entire event on the last day if you have been busy or forgot to sign in. The login event does not have that type of forgiveness. If you login even a week before the end of the event, you will miss some rewards. I was under the assumption that this event would be a quest event because I had never seen the sims do a login event. The holidays have been very busy and I’m a full time student that doesn’t get a winter break, so I didn’t have much time to login to sims everyday. I was hoping to be able to login towards the end of the event, play through the quest, and collect my rewards. But because I didn’t research the event, I logged in too late and was out of luck. The login event doesn’t even require you to play sims either, you can just open the game and collect, which feels lazy to me. I don’t want sims to turn into a lackluster version of fortnite. Please go back to quest events, login events are boring and quest events are overall better. I’m super sad that I wasn’t able to collect every reward but I guess I was lucky enough to collect the krabby patty recipe.
