To EA/Maxis: When will we be able to have beautiful eaves or vaulted ceilings?

I hope this is getting looked into. I feel it's been overlooked(underlooked😉) for far too long!

Yes sometimes using the half walls work to frame in an area like a porch, but in this case, I do need the full-size wall because the roof is resting on it and it would look weird otherwise. I know technically in game the roof will stay, but it's a design thing here. 😏

As a builder this is my major pet peeve. Those white undersides of the roof make no sense. A roof doesn't look like that IRL. If anything it would be dark. So I'd love for this to be addressed. I like to extend roofing over balconies but just the empty roof bit so all my builds with this feature have all this white underside on the roofing. It bugs me so!

But I do like that the glass walls give another dimension to roofing. I can make decorative feature in a roof with a glass wall. So at least there's that 😁.

I am not so sure about the half wall trims, they all look kind of the same to me, except for the two with the glass and the wooden slats.  You can use actual half walls to create those wall pieces in game. I think you should also be able to draw a short fence or half wall on top of those walls.

To be clear.. I'd like to have the ability to put patterns on the underside of roofs the same way we do floors or ceilings. As well the ability to trim the top of walls.. or anywhere else that flat gray is visible.
