Vacation Pack I’d LOVE to have

So my fantasy  for a new pack would give us two areas that work in concert with each other. Florence (Tuscany inspired)/Venice/Murano regions of Italy and an idealized France setting which includes a Paris inspired section and a Provence inspired countryside. I would pay BIG money for this. But only if we got most on this list.

This is a reference to the "Cask of the Amontillado" by Edgar Allen Poe which takes place during Carnival.

  • I absolutely love the idea of having different “levels” of room but also the option to customize some of the rooms or at least which hotel meets your needs. Like if you need an option to select if the room should include a bassinet/crib/toddler bed, pet beds, bunk beds, etc. That’s one of the main reasons my Sims don’t take family vacations is because most lots that are premades or from the gallery don’t include things like a toddler bed, crib, bassinet, etc so either my sims’ children just nap on a couch or I have to download a specific lot that has all that included. Like the suite should have a main room with just a double bed and a in-room bathroom and then the 2nd room is like a bunk beds and a crib. Make the murphy bed base game so that can be in the living room of the suite.

Hotel rooms should have limits (like 2 sims per room or it automatically makes you get a suite). That way each sim has at least 1 bed. Some hotels may be pet friendly, ghost friendly, etc. Each hotel may have a bar/restaurant inside of it that Sims can go on the first floor and explore to meet others who are staying at the same hotel as them. The hotel could even host singles’ night or teen hangout, etc.

Room service would be nice because it can work similarly to the Zoomers system where you select from a menu (location specific foods that you can’t make at home) and someone brings it up to the room. I also would like the option to have daily room service for extra like a maid comes in and straightens the room, takes out trash, etc.

Given that the Sims 4 only comes with 1 world per EP, I doubt that there’s gonna be any sort of 2 or 3 world like the way the Sims 3 World Adventures or Sims 2 Bon Voyage was. I rather these worlds be integrated into the regular Sims worlds than a destination world. The way that both Sulani and Snowy Escape are both nice places to vacation but also possible to live there year-around in a regular house. I like the idea of the Italian inspired world (although Tartosa is kinda similar) but I’d prefer the France world a bit more just because it’s a little different that what we have so far in the Sims 4; I also like a world that is inspired by Africa or the Middle East because we haven’t gotten any representation from those areas. Maybe the world can be split up into different neighborhoods so one neighborhood is more touristy with the vacation rental lots and the other neighborhoods are more for the locals.

I suggest adding some "French Touch" DJ/electronic music to your list.

Walk through the "Père Lachaise Cemetery" and see the graves of the famous Sims. Leave tokens for your heroes.  Unlocked if you have Life & Death

I recall that the tombstone of Oscar Wilde in Père Lachaise was coveresed in lipstick kiss marks. It would be fun to have the grave of a famous Sim that our Sims could kiss.
