Voices, Audio Variety & Singing Feedback
The current voice system gives Sims distinct personalities and adds fun variety to conversations. It’s also nice that Sims can sing, which ties into music-related gameplay.
There are only three adult voice types, which start to feel repetitive across large saves. Sims lack regional accents, making them sound too similar. On top of that, the singing voice doesn’t reflect a Sim’s chosen speaking voice, which breaks immersion.
New Voice Types: Add 2–3 new voice options for both male and female Sims.
Accents: Introduce accents (e.g., British, African-American, Australian, etc.) to give Sims more cultural and regional identity.
Singing Voice Matching: Ensure that a Sim’s singing voice better reflects their speaking voice, instead of using the same default singing tone.
It would make Sims feel more unique and realistic, especially in large households or long saves. Matching singing voices to speaking voices would improve immersion, while accents and new voice options would create greater diversity and help players tell richer stories.
