At the moment I'm more interested in bug fixes and tweaks.
Tweak how other Occults react to Werewolves. Vampires and Spellcasters mostly. Vampires seem less likely to run away in fear and more likely to either not be afraid or get a tense/angry moodlet. Spellcasters strike me as the same to a certain degree where they are less likely to be afraid or they might get a tense moodlet.
Possibly tweak how Sims react to Sims who are infected by the Motherplant. Really, the infected Sims are far scarier than the Werewolves. 😱
Tweak Servos to not have wants that only other Occults and regular Sims can have. Eating, drink, wear costumes... It is sad when they have things they love about a holiday or a whim that they cannot do. It can also be frustrating when you cannot complete something that has requirements - like events.
Could the Ghosts' needs be tweaked? They never made sense in the beginning and still make no sense being all mortal ones that simply have different names. Seriously, why do ghosts need to eat mortal food, use toilets and showers/bathtubs? (Yeah, they can suppress such needs by going up the skill tree, but it is still ridiculous that they have mortal needs when they are no longer mortal.) The essence grabbing would make sense as a sustenance, just leaving puddles of goo (like the ones in Paranormal) for mortals to slip on would do well for the goo disposal and maybe using crystals to cleanse their apparitions.
Tweak the game to fill houses in a way that makes more sense? All the huge lots tend to have one or two Sims while all the smaller ones tend to be maxed out at eight.
Fix the builds that are basically "outside" like Planet Pop! or have rooms that used half-walls to make pick-up service windows like the Hare and Hedgehog cafe or the Salty Paws bar. Maybe make a window that actually would work well as a pick-up service window for such builds.
Get rid of the panel wallpapers that has auto-place edging (the ones that basically have a "plainer" counter part that don't have them) and just put in a simple, thin base-game column Simmers can custom place. It is annoying how the edges do not always line up at the corners they should be at.
Foundations, tiles and terrain paint all having matching swatches. Like the brick foundation has a matching brick with the stairs and brick tiles and the brick wallpaper.
Terrain paint swatches that matches more of the other world environments. Or at least an update to the terrain paint color pallet to go with the ones that had swatches added to the floor tiles.
Slowly convert all the windows to be able to work with curved walls rather than making an additional window that can actually work on both flat and curved walls. There would be less space being taken up while being able to keep all the windows.
Make mirrors able to be free placed in terms of height. If anything should have a fixed height it should be toilet paper, light switches and/or thermostats.
For off-the-grid purposes, make a Base Game journal adults can use to write books or even a typewriter. It is ridiculous that Sims cannot write out manuscripts for their novels without a computer.
If food and woodwork sculptures made by Sims that are saved on the Gallery can keep the tag that tells you who made it, do the same for paintings?
When there is a holiday, have a single category in the pie menu that has all the holiday interactions under it.
With Jasmine Holiday showing up recently, bring back the old Challenges from around 2016? I like how with Seasons I can at least recreate the Bunny Egg Hunt in a way. It surprised me that the Sugar Skull Challenge couldn't be re-created. So, how about bringing the challenges back via Scenarios?
The calendar has become ridiculously cluttered with events, holidays, festivals and the like overlapping. Make the calendar more customizable so you can turn off reminders about festivals or holidays that have *nothing* to do with your Sim whether it has to do with life state or interest. Examples: A Sim may be in a household that has no teens, so their calendar doesn't need reminders or cheerleading or football every week. A Sim may have no interest country fairs dealing with crops, pies, llamas and/or cows and therefore, don't need reminders of those events on their calendar.
Make Sims have a bored moodlet when around decor they do not like rather than a tense one. Other than a personal space not living up the Sim's expectation due to an interior designer getting the job wrong, who gets tense or upset over decor? It is pretty annoying when your Sim gets tense over places that aren't even theirs. So you don't like this other Sim's taste in decor to the point you feel tense over it? WTF? Also, make Sims no longer go to look at a decor item they like unless it is in the same room as them. If it is in the same room they are in and they happen to see it, it makes sense. If it is all the way across the house, especially where they wake up in the middle of their sleep just to look at it? Maybe if the Sim is materialistic, that could make sense. Any other Sim? No.
Stop Sims from going to the pool to sit on its ledge while they are eating. That is weird. Maybe if the Sim is a slob? Sure. Any other Sim? "Ah, yes... I'll will eat my food here where crumbs and bits can fall into the water. The smell of chlorine really gives me such an appetite."
Make all photo taking of specific Sims be able to rotate the angle like how Simstagraming pets does. So many times I've had a Sim or two stand at a specific place to take a selfie for the perfect background, only for them to suddenly turn around and face the other way. It is aggravating as heck.
There are probably other things I could writer, but anyway... the last and main thing that actually matters to me are the bug and glitch fixes. Especially ones that impede progress be it doing a work task, finishing an aspiration, gaining a life milestone or earning a reward trait... it is a real killjoy when you have to either cheat (if you even know how) to get what your Sim needs to succeed or be left with nothing for all the effort. 😢
