Why I cant sell knitted stuff at my small business?

Businesses & Hobbies + Knifty Knitting. I figured I could sell a knitted Llama outfit at my small business since it folded as i dragged it towards the shelf but it just hops back in my inventory. I tried with socks too and that didn't work either. I only really get the option to sell through Plopsy or inventory and that takes all the fun out of it. I want my sim to have a fabric/knit shop but I don't think it's gonna work out as well as I had hoped.

Also, this is in bug territory, but every sim in my game likes to freeze up periodically during business hours. like 4 sim hours will pass before anyone moves or does anything and resetting the sims doesn't help at all. They all just stand there while time is still passing and the game is about to forcibly close my business with a bad rating for activities because nobody did anything. Does anyone have tips for this until they fix it? SOMETIMES opening the save menu helps. I thought maybe this was because my business was 3 stories tall but I just removed a level and its still happening.
