Here is what happened. I was halfway through 100 babies challenge, got a bit bored, started a new game (family of spellcasters) and played for a few days (literally 4-5 days). While playing, I (my si...

Well, if I load the spellcasters, I can go to the Managed worlds, find the 100 babies household and play the household though there is no point really, the matriarch is old and will soon die, daughters live elsewhere and are old as well or dead. As I have said, I can't load 100 babies household from Load games because it's not there. Funny thing, before starting the spellcaster game, I had been playing 100 babies household for a while. I could either "resume" or "load game", no problems. At which point after starting the spellcasters the 100 babies disappeared, I can't be sure.
@677714f16587604bYour spellcasters and your 100 baby challenge are in the same save. The matriarch is old because time passed while you were playing the spellcasters and she aged up. That's why Luth suggested using the recovery feature to roll back to an earlier version of the save.
First, if you want to keep your spellcasters, open the save and do a "save as" then return to the main menu.
In the load menu, you should now have 2 copies of the spellcasters; the new one that you'll be keeping to play with them, and the old one that we're going to roll back in hopes of recovering your 100 baby challenge.
In the load menu, click on the original save that has your spellcasters & 100 baby challenge, so that it's highlighted. You'll now have a recover save option.
Click recover save, and it will pop up a menu of previous saves, dated to when each occurred. If you can go back to when you first switched to the spellcasters, go ahead and do so - or just go as far back as possible. See if the matriarch hasn't aged up yet.
@PipMenace Thank you! Too many glitches recently. Sims dropping on the flow missing limbs, walking through solid objects, game lagging. Changed graphic settings to low, does not help.
I did find out that the youngest matriarch's daughter is still a young adult and has not left the house. So, I can carry on playing 100 babies. I am trying to repair the game now, because lagging is driving me insane, and the * new matriarch is so annoying. Why so many glitches?!
Repaired the game. Did not help. The new matriarch drops on the floor with feet and hands missing and it happens a few times per minute. Moved another sim into the household. The same happens now to the new sim. What's the devilry is this? Impossible to play. :-((((((
@677714f16587604b Are you playing with any mods or CC in your Mods folder? If so, please start at Broken/Updated Mods (pinned in this forum). If you still have issues after removing and replacing mods (don't forget to delete localthumbcache), see what happens after you drag that folder to your desktop and delete localthumbcache. (Don't save, though! Or test in a new game.)
I don't have any CCs - removed them, trying to fix the problem. It did not help. I am using mccc, TOOL and betterbuildbuy mods. I have just did what you said - moved the mods out, deleted localthumbcache. Same problem, nothing changed.
I moved the new save out and used the backup old save, before the death of the old matriarch, and the game looks ok and the new matriarch acting normal. So, whatever happened, happened after. Have no idea what it is.
